Granite Island Group Coverage Areas

Local Boston Area Coverage Range

In the local Boston area we provide two primary coverage areas; the first (red ring) includes the area inside the 128 loop, the northern segment of the 495 loop, and all of the Northshore area. Inside this first coverage area we can typically respond on an emergency basis, and can usually arrive on-site on the same day (within four to six hours). The minimum billable time for this area for a low threat, "quick check" sweep or consultation will be four hours. However, when possible at least eight to twelve hours should be allotted for any sweep.

Our secondary coverage area in the local Boston area (green ring) begins just North of York, Maine; sweeps North to include Concord, New Hampshire; most of Eastern Mass., and parts of Rhode Island. Inside this secondary area we can typically respond on-site during the following business day. The minimum billable time for this area will be eight to twelve hours. While we can provide a "quick check" sweep inside our secondary coverage area there would still be a minimum charge of 8-12 hours.

Normally work inside either of these areas must be arranged (and paid for) at least 72 hours or three business days in advance.

North-East Coverage Area

In the North-East area of the United States we provide two coverage areas; the first (orange ring) includes most of New England and a small amount of Upstate New York. Inside this first coverage area we can typically respond to your location in three business days or 72 hours (plus travel time).

Our secondary coverage area (blue ring); includes most of the East Coast from Norfolk, Virginia; Washington, DC; Pennsylvania; all of New York State; parts of Ohio; and New England. Inside this secondary area we can typically respond to your location in five business days (plus travel time).

The minimum billable time for this larger coverage area will be 24 hours, or three full days (plus travel time). Normal response to locations on the East Coast will be with a vehicle containing a full and comprehensive complement of TSCM equipment (basically an entire electronics lab).

While we can provide a "quick check" sweep inside our North-East Coverage Area there would still be a minimum charge of 24 hours (three days). Work inside either of these areas must be arranged (and paid for) at least 72 hours or three days in advance.

Extended Coverage Area

We also have a third coverage area that includes all locations within a 1500 mile radius (or three day drive) of Boston. This area starts at Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia then sweeps Northwest to include St. Louis, Springfield, Chicago and most of the central Mid-West area East of the Mississippi.

Inside this third coverage area we can typically respond to your location in five to ten business days (plus travel time). Please keep in mind that coverage into these areas will normally involve at least a full three day on-site sweep (plus travel time in each direction).

We are also available to perform extended TSCM projects where we visit multiple facilities scattered across the county and drive a portable TSCM laboratory from site to site. These sites can be just a few mile apart, or can be dozens of facilities separated by thousands of miles across the country.

In a nutshell, we can bring a highly sophisticated, and portable electronics lab containing several tons of highly sensitive laboratory grade test equipment (which no other TSCM firm has) to any location within 1500 miles of Boston. Outside of this drivable area we will have to fly via commercial aircraft to the customers location (and severely limit the equipment we bring).
