The technology used by the Granite Island Group is unique in the TSCM world. Parts of it have been adapted by the military and intelligence agencies for use in their search for potential terrorists and counter-intelligence threats.
The core of this technology is the proprietary software developed by our Founder and Chief Engineer. This system listens, defines, and interprets a specific "Noise Floor" in real-time. Parallel processors are then utilized to listen to and measure the full range of sound and video received, on the entire RF Spectrum. These processors discern the real noise from potential threats. A sophisticated database (the most sophisticated of its kind, and closely guarded by our company) is then used to compare and interpret this incredible amount of data to known threats. Should an eavesdropping signal or eavesdropping device signature not yet be in the database, our software includes an artificial intelligence algorithm that will tear apart, isolate, and then evaluate every possible parameter in real-time and flag the signal as an "unknown" for closer study. This combination of automated hardware and software allows us to perform sweeps that are far more thorough and in-depth then those performed by other companies or even government agencies.
Everything of an electronic nature has its own unique personal noise footprint or signature. Even bugs that are dormant will emit a slight noise signal when examined by special equipment that the Granite Island Group utilizes in our inspections.
Some of these principles and techniques are state of the art and proprietary to our company; others were used by Nikola Tesla, Leon Theremin, Herbert Yardley, and exploited during the great signal battles during World War I, World War II and throughout the Cold War but virtually lost in the ensuing time.
In any case if there is a bug, we will find it, and we can illuminate, activate and detect dormant bugs, devices, etc. Many of our methods are trade secrets, but they can be demonstrated to the client on-site in a live environment.
Granite Island Group's ability to reach out and grab the entire spectrum in real-time looking for immediate anomalies is unmatchable by anyone; however, we also take great effort to document the entire session for review to be sure we've missed nothing. Our ability to grab the spectrum comes from unique antenna systems designed by our Chief Engineer. Using little known and often proprietary methods these antennas can match any classified reception device on a secret mountaintop in West Virginia.
Much of this equipment is located in a mobile TSCM lab and can be transported to your facility with a minimal amount of visibility.
